Whether network folders are shown may depend on your OS and system privileges.
If network folders are not shown, map them to drive letters and they will appear in the folder tree.
You can drag and drop a folder onto the labels above the folder tree. The folder will be selected in the corresponding folder tree.
If you cannot remember which files you updated last, check using the Tools->Get latest timestamps feature.
Before you make any changes to your system, check what files are in the folder trees using the View files feature.
Use the File Details window to update only specific files in a folder.
Be careful when using FTP mode. Your FTP server may have files which are in fact soft or hard links. There may also be files affecting the configuration of your server. Ensure you know what each file does before syncing them.
If you are writing a script to sync a large folder, it may execute faster if it contains a step for each subfolder rather than one for the whole folder.
